Buying a Bounce House—Preparation
A bounce house is often seen at fairs, festivals, and sometimes children’s parties. They can range from a simple enclose square area to ones to a large bounce house with slide. It use to that in order to get one of these that you had to contact a company that rented them but today you are able to purchase them for home use. If you decide that you want to go that route, there are some things that you first must do.
Set up the space
Some bounce houses are suited just for the outdoors while others can be used indoors. No matter where you plan to set them up make sure that you have the space for it. How much space you have will help to determine the size you can get. When setting it up outdoors you have to remember that the grass under it will die unless you want to move it around every few days. If you have a concrete pad, you can put it on there as long as it fits and does not hang over as this can damage the house. Once you have decided where to put it you will have to stake it down to make sure that it is stable. You must also make sure that if you set it up in the house that it is stabilized. You will not be able to use stakes inside so you have to figure out how to do this.
Storage
If you live in a winter climate, you will have to make sure that you have the room to store it when not in use. It needs to be stored in a dry place. The bounce house is expensive and commercial grade so you want to be able to use it for several years. If it is not stored properly,it can cause damages and help to accelerate the degradation of the material it is made from. It should be stored in some type of container and not just out in the open.
Power supply
When you buy bounce house you should buy an electric blower, as the house will need a constant supply of air to keep it inflated. Make sure the bouncer house is near a power source for the fan to be plugged in or buy a long extension cord. You will also need to make sure that your circuit breaker can handle the electric blower.
Before you allow children to play in the bounce house, make sure that you learn the safety runs so no one gets hurt. You also want to make sure that an adult is always supervising at all times. By following these rules your child will have a lot of fun.
