Who is England’s most successful club? The five most successful English football clubs are examined.

English football’s most successful clubs are accustomed to winning trophies. When English football giants spend two or three years without winning a trophy, they start to fear. Current football betting favorites are at the top of the list of England’s most successful teams, while other 2020 contenders are still ascending the all-time ranks. At the peak of the English game, there has been enough development, enough relative equality, to see prizes distributed more widely than in other countries. In the Premier League era, for example, there have been seven league winners – many other nations have had significantly fewer champions.

Manchester United

Sir Alex Ferguson ended his career on a high note, ultimately defeating liverpool (ลีเวอร์พูล, this is the term in Thai) and capturing his 20th league title. Manchester United had previously outstanding teams, but many of the 66 titles were won during Ferguson’s reign. Since Ferguson’s retirement, United has slipped out of championship contention due to managerial changes and ill-advised buys, although they have still managed to win a few titles. After winning the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal in 2015/16, the Red Devils won the Europa League and League Cup in 2016/17.

Liverpool

This is where things start to become heated. ลีเวอร์พูล vs. Manchester United for the title of “most successful club in England” comes down to a big prize. Liverpool is without a doubt the most decorated team on the European scene, having won six Champions League and three UEFA Cups. Despite Jurgen Klopp’s triumphs, Liverpool only has seven FA Cups and eight League Cups, falling short of Manchester United’s total.

Arsenal

Arsenal has been a constant at the highest level of English football throughout their history, dominating in the 1930s and winning a double in the 1970s. The Arsene Wenger years, on the other hand, were the finest of all, with a handful of doubles and the only undefeated English league season in history. The Gunners have won a record 14 FA Cups, and it’s the tournament in which they’ve flourished since the early 2000s. In 2014, Wenger broke a trophy drought by winning the FA Cup. Since then, Arsenal has won it three more times.

Chelsea

Chelsea, like City, had a trophy cabinet before Roman Abramovich’s millions came, but the Blues have risen to new heights since the Russian invested in the club in 2003. Since Abramovich owned Chelsea, the team has won five Premier League crowns, five FA Cups, three League Cups, two Europa Leagues, and, perhaps most significantly, a Champions League. Chelsea has seldom finished a season without a trophy, but after losing the FA Cup final against Arsenal, they did so in 2019/20.

Manchester City

Those who mistrust Manchester City’s past may be startled to see them at this level. Sure, they won two league titles, four FA Cups, and a Cup Winners’ Cup before the investment, but they already had two league titles, four FA Cups, and a Cup Winners’ Cup. Following the league and League Cup double the season before, Pep Guardiola’s team became the first English team to achieve a domestic triple in 2018/19.
