All international competitions are held under her control: world championships, tournaments within the framework of the Olympics, the Confederations Cup, youth, junior and women’s World Cups. 

In total, two hundred and eleven NFs are members of all confederations, among which there are both national teams and historical territories (England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland) including places with an undefined status (Chinese Taipei, Kosovo, Macau and others). Moreover, states located in several territories have the right to choose a confederation.

European football tournaments

The most influential of them is UEFA. The European Association organizes the following tournaments:
